Silkscreen printing
SCREEN PRINTING
This is the oldest and most common processing which T-shirt can be printed. Silkscreen positives must be prepared, silk screens must be manufactured and these silk screens then gets set up. This is a time consuming process and therefore more expensive on lower quantities, but the unit price is lower on high quantities. The minimum amount of shirts printed with the screen printing process is 50, if the print consists of 1 or 2 different colours in the design, 80 shirts if the design consists of 3 or more colours.
A big a advantage of screen printing is that the ink penetrates into the material and thereafter goes thru a heat process. This method printing last even longer than what the shirt itself will last.

Quality of our T-shirts
Most people make the mistake by compare the quality of T-shits by the weight of the material. The thickness of T-shits usually gets measured according to the grams per square meter of the material, which is between 120 grams and 200 grams.
This is only an estimate, but a 145 gram T-shirt is not necessarily a better quality shirt than a 170 gram T-shirt. T-shirts that gets categorized as a 145 gram per square meter preshrunk and produced from 100% cotton material with interlock weaving appears neater and will keep its shape better as for example a 180 gram “ carded cotton” T-shirts
Carded cotton usually is made of lower grade material and mass produced. The colour process of these lower quality shirts also differs and lower quaintly shirts tends to fade. However these lower quality shirts still remain very popular because of price sensitive clients and a large competitive market.
